Submissions of headshots and resumes are always welcome by uploading your materials to Casting Manager.

Script Submissions

1st Stage accepts scripts year-round from playwrights, literary agents, and other theatre professionals. We also accept scripts and filmed pieces for our annual Logan Festival of Solo Performance. We program produced and un-produced plays, musicals, and both world and regional premieres. Please look at our current and past seasons to gauge if 1st Stage might be the right fit for your script.

To submit:

Email a ten-page sample of your script, a short synopsis, and a brief bio to Associate Artistic Director, Deidra LaWan Starnes with Script Submission in the subject line. Electronic submissions are preferred.

Please note: due to the amount of submissions received, all artists may not be contacted personally. If 1st Stage is interested in the work you submitted or in reading more of your work, we will contact you within six months of receipt of your submission.
